We provide consulting services to integrate the use of internet and related technology to benefit the work of community organizations. As a responsible member of our local business community, we also work as volunteers and in public-private partnerships.

Company Background

In October of 2004 Bob Snodgrass took a personal leave of absence to spend more time at home with his family and much less time on the road. Part of his objectives during this time was to evaluate technology advances that support the development of enterprise level applications and could be effectively deployed over the internet. Over the previous 12 years with RJN Group, Inc., in cities all over the country, Bob had the opportunity to observe first hand how various community groups cooperated (or not) to provide community services. As he investigated technology alternatives and market opportunities, he also expanded his involvement on a volunteer level with a number of organizations. Bob began to see not only a real need, but an opportunity to apply technology beyond enterprise applications and turn these applications into tools to support the strengthening of local communities.

We are in the process of starting a new non-profit corporation whose mission it will be to provide services to low income, disadvantaged, or special needs populations, allowing them to take advantage of internet technology. Commonly people having limited or disadvantaged access to the internet are referred to as being on the other side of the Digital Divide. It is our hope to provide services, training, and opportunity to assist organizations and individuals overcome this obstacle. We will be developing net2Community.org as our non-profit corporation site. Look for news on this in the future.
